The drape of the curtain creates deep folds that are more formal than other types of window treatments, such as rod pocket curtains. This type of curtain is best used on the study or dining area.

Pinch Pleated Curtains

This is undeniably the most common style of window treatments used in most homes. This curtain style is characterised by equally spaced single or double (sometimes even triple) pleats with a pinch in the center. As a result of that style, it creates an appearance of a fan above or below the pinch.

The curtain rod is inserted through those rings so that the curtain can be placed on your window. It makes it easy to hung on the windows and is often used in kids’ bedroom. You can also use formal fabric types and use the curtain on the lounge or bedroom.

Sheer Curtains

This type of fabric is made with sheer-quality fabric that is translucent. It does not offer much privacy or protection from natural lighting. It provides a subtle obstruction from the view outside but it won’t completely block the light. This type of curtain is best for layering or for rooms that don’t require complete privacy.

Blackout Curtains

This is the opposite of the sheer curtain because it is an opaque fabric that is designed to black out the light from outside. It is commonly used on bedrooms to ensure that light won’t be able to enter through the window once the curtains are drawn in.
